Position Overview

As a Kitchen Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality within our kitchen. Your role will ensure that all equipment is ready for daily operations, supporting our mission to provide quality meals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly sanitize all kitchen areas to surpass Department of Health standards, including countertops, cooking equipment, walk-in refrigerators, and storage spaces.
  • Efficiently manage waste disposal, ensuring the kitchen remains clean and organized for food preparation.
  • Assist the kitchen team in preparing for daily meal production, contributing to a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment, such as a restaurant, hotel, or commissary.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, and to stand for extended periods.
  • Demonstrated reliability and teamwork skills, with a calm demeanor in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Employment Type: Full Time

Typical Work Hours: Early morning shifts, Monday through Friday.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
