Position Overview

As a Utility Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring a clean and safe environment for both staff and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold the cleanliness of all kitchenware, including dishes, utensils, and equipment, in accordance with company protocols.
  • Safely and effectively operate dishwashing machinery, adhering to the provided operational guidelines.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and rinse solutions to ensure optimal sanitation.
  • Replace any broken or damaged kitchen items promptly.
  • Assist in stocking food and non-food supplies upon delivery.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles and recycling materials.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of kitchen facilities and equipment as required.
  • Engage in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following company standards.
  • Foster a safe working atmosphere by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with residents, visitors, and fellow team members.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or possess a valid work permit.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen setting is advantageous.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screening is required.
