Job Overview

As a Utility Worker at Senior Lifestyle, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Chemical usage: Guarantee the correct application of soap and rinse agents during the washing process.
  • Inventory management: Replace any broken or damaged kitchenware and assist in stocking food and supplies upon delivery.
  • Waste management: Regularly empty garbage bins and dispose of packaging materials responsibly.
  • Deep cleaning: Conduct thorough cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment as required.
  • Training participation: Engage in all required training sessions and in-service seminars to enhance your skills.
  • Work environment maintenance: Uphold a clean and organized workspace while adhering to company standards.
  • Safety promotion: Contribute to a safe working environment by following accident prevention protocols and maintaining equipment.
  • Professional interaction: Foster positive and professional relationships with residents, visitors, and fellow team members.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old or possess a valid work permit.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen setting is advantageous.
  • Completion of state and federal background checks and drug testing is mandatory.
