About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Preparation Specialist to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area, including tables, shelves, walls, oven, and refrigeration equipment
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
  • Utilize tools and equipment, including the prep list and hot box chart, to ensure timely delivery of products needed for service
  • Follow all safety procedures when using equipment and report any equipment or food quality problems to management
  • Assist in other job categories as needed and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of related experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period
  • Ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets
  • Dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
