Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Johnson Controls International. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, processing orders, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels and process orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Receive and store inventory, including parts and materials
  • Dispatch materials to technicians and issue equipment to jobs
  • Request and process returns from vendors
  • Verify orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Stage parts in the correct warehouse locations
  • Pull and pack materials for shipment
  • Communicate with freight carriers regarding daily bills of lading
  • Prepare shipping documents as necessary
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including housekeeping, stocking, and safety
  • Follow up with vendors and procurement on parts status and ETA
  • Update Installation Portal with part status
  • Look for parts availability in other branches to meet customer expectations
  • Conduct special projects, such as physical inventories and cycle counts
  • Review supply chain reports and complete necessary transactions to maintain inventory accuracy
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in the supply chain field and material handling
  • Experience with inventory management software, preferably Oracle
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy and ability to visually distinguish colors
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a warehouse environment where exposure to heat, cold, and hazardous materials may occur. The physical demands of the job include lifting up to 40 lbs, grasping, lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting. The employee must be physically fit and able to stand or sit for extended periods.
