Chemical Sales Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Representative specializing in chemical sales. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven individual to build a successful career in the chemical industry.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Sell a broad range of raw material specialty chemicals to the CASE markets in the Midwest region, focusing on Additives, Pigments, and Resins.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to grow existing business and expand into new customer relationships.
  • Travel overnight as needed to meet with customers and prospects to foster strong partnerships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience selling specialty chemicals or commodity chemicals, preferably to the CASE markets.
  • Prior sales experience with a chemical distributor is highly valued.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (or related field) or Business is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in chemistry and business principles.
Compensation Package:

A competitive base salary of $120,000, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a generous annual bonus based on gross profit growth versus budget. The realistic bonus potential ranges from 25% to 45% of the base salary, providing substantial additional income opportunities. A generous car allowance complements the package, along with excellent benefits.
