Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Fluence Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and be able to drive growth in the water and wastewater treatment market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement business strategies to drive growth in the water and wastewater treatment market.
- Identify and target new business opportunities, including potential new clients, partnerships and strategic alliances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including municipalities, industrial clients, engineering firms, representatives and other relevant stakeholders.
- Lead negotiation and closure of new contracts and partnerships, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with Company business objectives and legal requirements.
- Develop and/or oversee the preparation, submission and preparation of proposals and bids for new projects and contracts.
- Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to develop compelling and competitive proposals.
- Monitor and analyze sales funnel data using CRM tools and provide regular updates to senior management on progress, opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare project reviews prior to bid date for the appropriate level of approval.
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university, specializing in engineering, business management, finance or equivalent.
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a related field.
- Experience working with remote teams is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a project execution role within the water and wastewater municipal industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated strong judgment and analytical abilities guiding decision-making.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe.
- Ability to travel domestically occasionally.
