Job Overview

The Heavy Machinery Sales Account Executive is tasked with nurturing and enhancing relationships with pivotal clients in the construction sector. Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Establish and sustain strong connections with both existing and potential clients.
    • Act as the main liaison for key accounts, promptly addressing their needs and concerns.
    • Comprehend clients' operational requirements and suggest suitable heavy machinery solutions.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
    • Meet sales objectives and stimulate revenue growth within designated accounts.
    • Identify and explore new business prospects and market opportunities in the construction industry.
    • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy:
    • Conduct market research to pinpoint trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
    • Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or surpass sales goals.
    • Keep abreast of industry changes and modify sales strategies as needed.
  • Customer Support and Service:
    • Collaborate with service and support teams to guarantee timely delivery and after-sales assistance.
    • Address and resolve any issues or complaints regarding equipment and services.
    • Provide training and guidance to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain precise records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account statuses.
    • Generate regular sales reports and forecasts for management evaluation.
    • Document and monitor progress on sales opportunities and account development.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Demonstrated experience in sales and account management within the heavy machinery or construction sector.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet sales targets.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of construction heavy machinery.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
    • Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
