As a Flight Controls Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the airworthiness of various aircraft types. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and repairing flight control systems, contributing to the safety and reliability of our clients' operations.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Remove, install, and repair flight control surfaces and components, adhering to OEM and Engineering drawings.
  • Modify aircraft structures and flight controls according to specifications.
  • Perform weight and balance calculations for flight control surfaces, rigging, and operational testing of all flight control systems, including autopilot functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within flight control systems.
  • Work on a diverse range of aircraft types, including Boeing 737/767 and Airbus models.

Qualifications:

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in commercial maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO).
  • Proven experience working on Boeing 737/767 and Airbus aircraft.
  • Demonstrated ability to repair, modify, replace, or perform routine maintenance tasks in a specialized area.
  • Proficiency in developing repair schemes using SRM or Engineering data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with maintenance personnel at all levels.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and compliance with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening requirements.
