Job Summary

As a Commercial Landscaping Account Manager with Trotter Workforce, you will be responsible for developing strong long-term relationships with clients in the commercial landscaping industry. You will serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests, and conduct regular site visits and meetings to review services, discuss issues or enhancements. Your goal will be to make recommendations for each property, address client concerns, and project manage and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of landscaping projects. You will also be responsible for coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of services, monitoring project progress, and ensuring budgets, timelines, and quality standards are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for sales and business development, identifying and pursuing opportunities for account growth and new business, preparing proposals, bids, and estimates for clients, negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, and driving renewal rates in your region with a goal of no less than 90%. You will collaborate with landscape designers, horticulturists, and maintenance teams to meet client expectations, facilitate communication between clients and internal teams, and ensure all services meet company standards and client specifications.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, horticulture, landscape architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer service in the landscaping industry.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping practices, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and experience with Aspire is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.

Work Environment
  • Combination of office work and field visits to client sites.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet client needs.
  • Physical requirements include walking, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
