Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee operations in a dynamic environment. This role is essential for organizing, directing, and managing all contractual obligations between EMCOR and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full accountability for the successful execution of all facets of the assigned contract.
  • Facilitate transition activities to ensure a smooth phase-in of new contracts.
  • Prepare and present financial forecasts and updates, ensuring compliance with contractual and financial objectives.
  • Lead a team of skilled professionals, fostering a disciplined and well-trained workforce.
  • Oversee daily operations, maintenance schedules, and construction projects, including the management of subcontractors.
  • Assess project efficiency and control operational costs while adhering to best practices.
  • Provide both administrative and technical guidance to staff in their work assignments.
  • Manage negotiations and bids for construction contracts, ensuring effective administration.
  • Plan and delegate project tasks, prioritizing maintenance and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with management to make staffing recommendations.
  • Advise client facilities staff on operational matters and challenges.
  • Ensure the upkeep of facilities, including HVAC systems, sanitation, and overall appearance.
  • Coordinate procurement of supplies and maintain inventory controls.
  • Maintain communication with architects, engineers, and contractors on major projects.
  • Keep accurate records and controls to ensure effective management and productivity.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for employees.
  • Implement and uphold a robust safety program.
  • Ensure adherence to the EGS Business System by all administrative staff.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven years of experience in maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial building systems.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate all aspects of facility operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues collaboratively.
  • Experience in managing diverse teams and working with various personnel levels.
  • Knowledge of office administration, plant management, budgeting, and OSHA regulations.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to lead teams effectively and work independently.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and demands.
  • Ability to perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

This role may require occasional physical activities such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
