Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee operations and maintenance initiatives. This role is pivotal in coordinating, directing, and managing all contractual obligations between our organization and the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full accountability for the successful execution of all contract-related activities.
  • Lead transition efforts for the seamless implementation of new contracts.
  • Prepare financial forecasts on a quarterly basis and provide monthly updates, ensuring compliance with all contractual and financial objectives.
  • Manage a team of technical professionals, fostering a skilled and disciplined workforce.
  • Oversee daily operations, scheduled maintenance, and construction projects, including the administration of subcontracts.
  • Evaluate project efficiency and manage operational costs while adhering to maintenance standards and contractual obligations.
  • Provide both administrative and technical guidance to staff in fulfilling their responsibilities.
  • Supervise the bidding process for construction contracts and manage those agreements.
  • Delegate project tasks to team members and prioritize maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with management to make staffing recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, and terminations.
  • Advise client facilities personnel on maintenance issues and operational challenges.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of facilities, including HVAC systems, sanitation, and overall appearance.
  • Coordinate the procurement of supplies and services, maintaining effective inventory control.
  • Maintain communication with architects, engineers, and contractors involved in major projects.
  • Keep detailed records and procedures to ensure effective management and productivity.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for staff development.
  • Implement and uphold a robust safety program.
  • Ensure compliance with the business system protocols.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven years of experience in maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial building systems.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage facility operations effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients on complex issues.
  • Experience in managing diverse teams and working with various personnel levels.
  • Knowledge of office management, plant operations, budgeting, and OSHA regulations.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lead teams and work independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements: The role may involve occasional physical activities such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs.
