Position Overview:

Our esteemed client is seeking to hire an IT Support Specialist to join their dynamic team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving incoming support requests through various channels, including in-person interactions, email communications, and service desk inquiries related to computer systems, software applications, and hardware components.

This role involves providing assistance to all internal personnel on-site and occasionally offering first-level support for incoming calls and tickets from the helpdesk.

Additionally, the candidate will engage in basic infrastructure tasks, including working with routers and switches. The position requires mobility across multiple buildings, which encompass both manufacturing and office environments.

This team operates from an office space but will navigate throughout the campus to deliver troubleshooting and repair services based on ticket volume.

The candidate will manage a ticketing system that handles numerous requests weekly, addressing issues such as printer malfunctions, system imaging, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and maintenance tasks.

First-level support for production systems will include activities like reboots, troubleshooting, and network checks.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hardware and software troubleshooting support.
• Assist with Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365, and Active Directory issues.
• Manage PC imaging using SCCM or WDS.
• Troubleshoot printer issues, with a preference for candidates with thermal printer experience.

Essential Skills:

• Proficient in Windows operating systems and support services.
• Strong customer service orientation and technical support experience.
• Familiarity with Office 365, Active Directory, and various troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with imaging and helpdesk support processes.

Additional Qualifications:

• Previous experience with thermal printers is advantageous, as is familiarity with manufacturing environments.
• Excellent communication skills are vital, enabling effective interaction with end users, colleagues, executives, and business partners in a professional manner.

• Strong organizational abilities and teamwork skills are essential, along with a capacity to quickly learn new software applications.


• Candidates should be adept at managing stressful situations, as this role operates in a fast-paced environment.
