Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler Furniture Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality furniture products, including doors, drawers, wall cases, and base units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out and mark reference points onto components
  • Operate machines such as pneumatic drivers, stacking machines, and other assembly equipment to assemble components to specified dimensions
  • Fits and assembles components
  • Insulates doors with foam or fiber as specified if applicable
  • Installs glass components as required, if applicable
  • Packs completed units and trim per customer requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

The work environment is typically quiet, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
