Overview:

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Regional Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational and commercial strategies aimed at enhancing business development, profitability, and growth. This leadership position is designed as a stepping stone towards managing a full company profit and loss statement after an initial period in the role. Relocation may be necessary for future responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Regional President and Company Presidents to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the development and execution of critical operational and commercial initiatives that foster long-term growth and profitability.
  • Initiate and oversee the implementation of innovative growth strategies and processes.
  • Work in partnership with Senior Management and Company Presidents to expedite progress on operational and commercial objectives.
  • Assist in establishing both short-term and long-term goals, strategies, and policies in collaboration with Company Presidents.
  • Ensure alignment across the region to support synergy between business objectives and national goals.
  • Contribute to the acquisition process, including target identification, business evaluation, valuation, proposal preparation, negotiation, integration planning, and post-acquisition resolution.
  • Provide leadership in talent development, succession planning, and recruitment of key personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, finance, or a related technical field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, consulting, or business development, particularly within the building materials or industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, especially in financial modeling, manufacturing, and sales operations, with the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
  • An MBA is strongly preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel approximately 50-75% of the time.
  • Openness to relocation across North America.
