Hotel Revenue Management Analyst

As a key player in our team, you will:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of reports and actively participate in weekly strategy meetings focused on sales, marketing, and revenue management.
  • Provide essential support and strategic guidance for revenue management initiatives across designated hotels.
  • Monitor and evaluate booking trends across all segments, utilizing intelligence tools to inform selling strategies.
  • Identify effective selling strategies and recognize emerging market trends in comparison to competitor hotels.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing demand patterns to optimize revenue opportunities.
  • Keep the Senior Leadership Team informed on accurate revenue forecasts, pricing strategies, and the performance of products and promotions.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Manager, General Managers, and department heads to implement proactive revenue-generating strategies.
  • Support the preparation of daily reports, including revenue summaries and group pick-up statistics, as directed.
  • Work alongside the Revenue Manager and General Manager to ensure alignment of strategies with the Annual Budget and Business Plan.
  • Collaborate with marketing and management to create and promote attractive package offerings.
  • Maintain strong relationships with third-party market managers for all assigned hotels.
  • Oversee property participation and performance across relevant distribution channels.
  • Assist in maintaining rate parity with all channel partners.
  • Analyze distribution channels to ensure effective rate and inventory management.
  • Support yield management efforts through comprehensive analysis and reporting to maximize revenue opportunities based on market demand.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and operational guidelines.
  • Utilize various systems and resources, including yield management tools and reporting software.
  • Facilitate ongoing sales training for property front office staff.
  • Engage in special projects and responsibilities as assigned, including participation in task forces and committees.
  • Maintain organized records and files for efficient operations.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including the preparation of internal and external communications, as well as managing accounting and purchasing functions.

Job Requirements

  • We seek a self-driven Revenue Management Analyst with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ideal candidates will possess: One to three years of relevant experience and/or training; a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with hotel revenue management systems is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively are essential.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills are required.
