Revenue Optimization Analyst

  • Conduct thorough analysis of reports and actively participate in weekly strategy meetings focused on sales, marketing, and revenue management.
  • Provide expert guidance on revenue management tactics for designated hotels.
  • Monitor and evaluate booking trends across all segments for assigned properties in comparison to competitive sets using advanced intelligence tools to enhance selling strategies.
  • Identify effective selling techniques and emerging market trends within the competitive landscape.
  • Assist in the evaluation of demand patterns and trends.
  • Keep the Senior Leadership Team informed with precise revenue forecasts and pricing strategies, alongside performance metrics for products and promotions.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Managers, General Managers, Sales, Marketing, and other key department heads to implement proactive revenue-enhancing strategies.
  • Support the preparation of daily reports, including Daily Revenue, Daily Detail, Group Pick Up, and any additional reports as required.
  • Work closely with Revenue Managers and General Managers to ensure alignment of strategies with the Annual Budget and Business Plan.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue Managers to create and promote appealing package offerings.
  • Maintain robust relationships with third-party market managers for all assigned hotels.
  • Oversee property participation and performance across relevant distribution channels.
  • Assist in maintaining competitive rates and parity with all channel partners.
  • Analyze and assess all distribution channels as necessary, focusing on rate or inventory restrictions.
  • Support yield management efforts through detailed analysis and reporting to uncover revenue opportunities based on budget, forecast, pace, and market demand for each property.
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards.
  • Utilize various systems and resources, including One Yield, MRDW, HPP, and CI/TY.
  • Ensure ongoing training in reservation sales is conducted with property Front Office teams.
  • Engage in projects and other responsibilities as assigned, including participation in task forces and committees.
  • Maintain organized records and files.
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including overseeing the preparation of internal and external correspondence and managing accounting and purchasing functions.

Job Requirements

  • We seek a self-driven Revenue Management Analyst with a strong work ethic and a commitment to surpassing expectations.
  • Qualifications for this role include: one to three years of relevant experience and/or training; a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with hotel revenue management systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
