Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships is a pivotal executive role at Cardinal Health, tasked with spearheading the organization’s growth and development strategies. This leader will focus on enhancing the network's reach, cultivating alliances, broadening service offerings, and steering the overall strategic direction to ensure the delivery of outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial operations and strategic planning division, crafting and executing comprehensive development strategies that align with the organization's mission and growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion, collaboration, and program enhancements to elevate the network's influence and effectiveness.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers and research institutions to foster innovation and collaboration.
  • Define a strategic growth pipeline, including new revenue opportunities, service line expansions, and market entry strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing and communications teams to devise and implement branding and marketing strategies that enhance the network's visibility and reputation through impactful messaging and promotional initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, life sciences, or a related discipline; an advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Healthcare Administration) is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in an executive strategy and development role, or a similar capacity, is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in strategic and business development, particularly within the healthcare sector, including market opportunity assessment and business plan formulation for growth.
  • Experience in selling complex solutions or services directly to healthcare professionals is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the network's mission and impact.
  • Familiarity with oncology and related healthcare trends, regulations, treatment options, and research advancements.
  • Strong business acumen and financial expertise to ensure optimal resource allocation and investment returns.
  • Experience in leading and managing diverse teams, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated pay range: $160,000 - $247,000 USD. Bonus eligibility: Yes, up to 35%. Benefits include health insurance, 401k contributions, paid time off, and vacation.
