Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer guidance, training, and supervision in employee recruitment, onboarding, retention, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
  • Assist operational teams with recruitment tasks, including posting job openings, monitoring applications, screening candidates, and liaising with hiring managers. Ensure timely follow-ups regarding offer letters and reference checks.
  • Facilitate pre-employment and post-employment background checks, including verification of professional licenses and other necessary screenings, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Support the onboarding experience by managing pre-hire documentation, providing necessary paperwork for employee files, and offering administrative assistance as required.
  • Collect and maintain essential documents for the credentialing process of clinical staff.
  • Provide data entry and administrative support for the division using Automatic Data Processing Enterprise.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and training as required.
  • Assist new operations in establishing tracking systems for post-hire training, background checks, performance evaluations, and compliance requirements.
  • Educate supervisors on the employee evaluation process and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Deliver constructive feedback and solutions for resolving conflicts and employee relations issues.
  • Guide supervisors through the progressive corrective action process, ensuring fair and consistent application of corrective measures. Collaborate with managers on corrective actions and participate in related meetings as necessary.
  • Conduct workplace investigations when required.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company policies and relevant employment laws, providing interpretation for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate leave administration with employees, educate supervisors, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Inform staff about the workers' compensation claim process and assist with claim management as needed.
  • Foster positive employee relations with both staff and management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in Human Resources.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
  • General understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws and compliance regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with employees, clients, and all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel occasionally.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
