The HR Generalist with Benefits will be responsible for managing various HR functions with a primary focus on employee benefits administration. This role involves working closely with employees to provide support and guidance on benefits-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing our benefits programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all employee benefits programs to ensure they are properly administered and compliant
  • Respond to all employee questions pertaining to health and benefits plans for above brands.
  • Manages leave of absence requests for designated employees by overseeing absence from leave to return.
  • Manages company 401k committee
  • Maintain and update personnel files and records
  • Conduct New Hire orientation
  • Completing I9 Audits
  • Compliance and Investigations: Monitor all EEO compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or relevant field experience
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law including HR technical knowledge of EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker's compensation, investigation processes, compensation practices, and benefits program
  • Experience with ATS, HRIS, MS Office, MS Excel
  • Understanding of all labor laws
  • Understanding of employee paperwork ( fixed-term contracts, confidentiality act, agreement terms etc)
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong verbal& written communication skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time- management and organizational skills
