Seeking a Project Coordinator for a leading developer specializing in high-rise, podium, and garden-style residential projects
About the Role: The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that high-density residential and mixed-use developments are executed safely, on schedule, within financial constraints, and in accordance with approved project specifications and applicable regulations. This position will report directly to Project Managers and will assist in managing various facets of the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, cost management, and labor relations under the guidance of the Project Manager. The Project Coordinator will provide essential support to the project team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, internal teams, and external contractors to ensure project alignment.
  • Engage in project design discussions and suggest enhancements as needed.
  • Identify potential challenges and technical issues, proposing effective solutions.
  • Organize and manage team objectives, project timelines, and new developments.
  • Oversee ongoing projects and coordinate team efforts to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring all materials are up-to-date, properly organized, and securely stored.
  • Facilitate project communications by preparing and reviewing proposals, memos, meeting notes, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with clients to clarify project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Serve as the primary contact for project status updates to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and senior management to make informed decisions and negotiate project parameters such as budget, timeline, resources, scope, and risk.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and requirements through quality assurance evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project management within the construction sector, ideally in multifamily, mixed-use, or residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methodologies, and equipment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate efficiently with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competence in preparing and interpreting project schedules, budgets, and contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • PMP certification is advantageous.
