Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of company policies and procedures related to property management.
  • Recruitment and Training: Hire, train, supervise, develop, and mentor Property Managers in accordance with company policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct performance evaluations on supervised employees and assist Property Managers with site-level employees.
  • Communication: Establish effective and regular communication with employees, owners, and senior management.
  • Marketing and Budgeting: Review and approve marketing activities, occupancy status, and unit pricing based on weekly market surveys. Supervise and coordinate the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Review and audit property administrative, accounting, and maintenance areas to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Travel and Representation: Travel up to 50% or as needed to represent the company and perform duties.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous property management experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of property management software, skilled in preparing and analyzing financial data, budgets, and market surveys. Intermediate computer technology skills, including MS Office Suite.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: CAM/CAPS Licensed Property Manager preferred.
Work Environment

This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading. The ability and means to travel locally, overnight, in specific regions or states via automobile and airplane may be required.
