This position is funded through a grant and will conclude upon the fulfillment of the grant objectives. The department is looking to fill two (2) Alcohol & Drug Program Specialist 2 roles at the Central Office to support the planning and development of prevention, treatment, and recovery initiatives as part of the State Opioid Response (SOR 3.0) Project. Employment will end upon the completion of the grant.

  • Serve as a liaison with statewide agency partners, stakeholder groups, and other organizations
  • Assist in formulating long-term strategies to improve community care systems
  • Interpret and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations
  • Assess program effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations
  • Oversee data reporting related to program performance

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in human services or equivalent experience is required. Additional experience in Infant and Early Childhood Development, Early Childhood Mental Health, program evaluation, and engagement with diverse families is preferred. A three percent salary supplement is available for those holding a valid clinical license.
