Job Summary

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our affordable housing assets, ensuring their optimal performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Planning: Develop and implement business plans to enhance asset value, increase revenue, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Asset Evaluation: Conduct regular site visits to assess asset performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze local rental markets to inform strategic decisions, identify opportunities for additional income generation, and propose recommendations based on findings.
  • Financial Management: Review and analyze financial statements, provide variance summaries, and engage in the annual budgeting process.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with various stakeholders, including vendors, departments, financial agencies, investors, and lenders, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing affordable housing assets, particularly involving Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen, including expertise in budgeting, financial modeling, and reporting, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.
