Compliance Specialist III

IEM Inc is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Grants Compliance Specialist III to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and compliant management of grants for our State Broadband Program funded by BEAD and other federal funds.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and implement compliance processes and procedures for grant management in accordance with federal guidelines and requirements.
- Grant Expenditure Verification: Conduct regular reviews and audits of grant activities to ensure compliance with BEAD and Treasury CPF funding regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide guidance and training to grant recipients on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Grant Budget Management: Monitor grant expenditures and activities to verify alignment with approved budgets and project plans.
- Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance issues and mitigate risks.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to federal agencies on grant compliance and performance.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in federal regulations and guidelines related to BEAD and Treasury CPF funds.
- Grant Agreement Development: Assist in the development of grant agreements, policies, and procedures to enhance compliance and accountability.
- Program Evaluation: Support program evaluation efforts to assess the impact of grant-funded projects on broadband accessibility and adoption.
- Experience: Five (5) years of experience with grants, preferably related to broadband consulting and/or broadband grant programs at the state or federal level.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting, Finance, or Public Administration.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate compliance monitoring and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge: Advance to Expert expertise/knowledge of federal grant regulations, especially broadband consulting and/or broadband grant programs at the state or federal level.
- Salary: Starting salary based on location and experience: $76,000 - $100,000.
- Holidays: 10 paid holidays.
