As a Portfolio Manager specializing in affordable housing, your role will be pivotal in asset refinancing or re-syndication, working closely with the Senior Portfolio Manager.

This position entails formulating policies, processes, and procedures while aiding in team growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Asset Readiness:
Communicate strategic plans to property management to prepare assets for refinancing, re-syndication, or disposition.
Conduct regular site visits to evaluate assets.
Assess the community's physical requirements and offer recommendations.

Market Research and Revenue Enhancement:
Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of local rental markets.
Analyze market rents, strengths, and areas for enhancement.
Identify additional revenue-generating opportunities.

Operational Assistance and Regulatory Compliance:
Support underperforming properties until stabilization is achieved.
Facilitate due diligence for prospective acquisitions.
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and regulatory standards.

Financial Assessment and Reporting:
Review budgets, financial reports, and variance analyses.
Engage in the annual budgeting process.
Conduct market assessments, quality assurance reviews, and financial statement evaluations.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Interact with various stakeholders, vendors, departments, financial institutions, investors, and lenders.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with team members on projects as necessary.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline is required.
3+ years of experience in managing affordable housing portfolios, including knowledge of LIHTC.
Experience with a syndicator is preferred.
Strong financial acumen encompassing budgeting, financial modeling, and reporting.
Travel may be required.

Compensation:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, inclusive of a benefits package and bonus potential.
