Job Overview:
This position involves overseeing a variety of responsibilities related to the management of parking during special events and the implementation of traffic flow plans. The role includes the setup and dismantling of equipment, the creation of detailed signage packages, and the maintenance of equipment inventories.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise event staff before, during, and after events, ensuring accurate record-keeping of contractor hours for billing purposes.
2. Operate independently with minimal supervision, making timely decisions based on established policies and prior experiences.
3. Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations with contract personnel regarding event plans.
4. Foster strong working relationships with event organizers, colleagues, and community leaders.
5. Develop and manage signage for events of varying sizes, ensuring all materials are adequately stocked.
6. Maintain precise logs of materials used, including costs and quantities.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely distribution and retrieval of equipment and signage.
8. Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on event equipment, including cleaning and upkeep of signage and barriers.
9. Complete incident reports as required and undertake additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license.

Experience: A minimum of one year in an event support role or a combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with excellent communication and customer service skills, are essential.
