Front Office Representative

Overview
Martin Resorts is seeking a skilled Front Office Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our resort.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized front office environment, including the lobby and guest rooms.
- Provide friendly and courteous telephone service to guests and colleagues.
- Coordinate with guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay, including reservations, wake-up calls, check-in, check-out, and special requests.
- Preserve the security and privacy of guest rooms and administrative keys.
- Actively communicate with management and staff through regular reports and feedback.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain property safety and lead tours for prospective clients.
- Receive and send mail, packages, and other deliveries.
- Maximize revenue through sales strategy and outstanding customer service.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of rates, features, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information, including performance statistics, client agreements, and financial data.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including maintaining excellent customer service and efficient operations.
- Sustain property safety through risk-management behavior, proper inspections, and participation in the Safety and Security Committee.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hospitality experience.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the property.
- Able to hear, understand, and communicate orally and in writing.
- Able to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, and kneel.
- Able to ascend and descend a ladder.
Compensation
Pay starts at $17.00 per hour, with part-time availability.
