Overview: The Multimedia Sales Account Executive plays a crucial role in driving revenue through the acquisition of new clients and the enhancement of existing relationships. This position focuses on maximizing sales across various platforms including print, digital, and event sponsorships.

Key Responsibilities:

A. New Business Development:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
  2. Assess client needs through strategic questioning and present tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
  3. Develop and deliver compelling advertising proposals and digital packages to prospective clients.

B. Account Management:

  1. Foster and expand relationships with current clients by conducting regular meetings to discuss advertising strategies and upcoming opportunities.
  2. Introduce innovative advertising concepts and programs to clients, demonstrating how they can effectively promote their offerings.
  3. Prepare and present detailed advertising proposals and performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

C. Administrative Duties:

  1. Oversee client contracts, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with terms.
  2. Manage all account-related documentation, including insertion orders and billing inquiries.
  3. Collaborate with creative teams to develop and finalize advertising materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  4. Handle financial transactions and maintain accurate billing records for all accounts.
  5. Respond to client communications in a professional and timely manner.

D. Additional Responsibilities:

Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in sales or account management.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of advertising principles and sales techniques.
  • Proficient in standard office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.

Competencies:

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
