Senior Program Manager, Internal Communications for Logistics

Overview: The Shipping & Delivery Support (SDS) division is a customer service entity committed to delivering exceptional support for Amazon's growing logistics offerings.
We are on the lookout for a proactive and innovative Senior Program Manager (PM) specializing in Internal Communications to spearhead and enhance the SDS Communications Team on a global scale.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a creative and results-oriented internal communications expert to significantly contribute to the premier SDS customer service team.
The SDS organization is in search of a dynamic Senior PM, Internal Communications with robust project management capabilities to join our dedicated Communications Team.
The SDS Communications Team is responsible for engaging SDS employees through internal communications that are relevant, clear, timely, and informative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of internal communication specialists in support of SDS on a global level.
- Develop compelling and effective communication content for various channels.
- Design and implement strategic communication plans aligned with global initiatives across SDS programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across diverse businesses and regions.
- Assist stakeholders in communication planning to ensure timely and appropriate delivery of employee-facing communications.
- Establish high communication standards and educate contributors on writing for specific channels, creating standard templates for self-service.
- Drive engagement and interaction across all internal communication platforms as part of our global communications strategy.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of communications effectiveness and report on performance metrics.
- Manage multiple initiatives and prioritize competing projects while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of program or project management experience.
- Proven experience in owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Ability to leverage data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Group Manager or Operations Manager supporting Amazon Customer Service.
- Familiarity with tools such as SIM, Asana, Quip, Microsoft Office Suite, and Teams.
- A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in internal communications, change management, or professional communications.
- Demonstrated ability to create effective communication content with minimal editing required.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence employees at all levels, including senior executives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing priorities effectively.
- Experience in creating both digital content and various communication materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional business communication skills.
- Experience in executive communications.
- Proven track record of driving change and influencing organizations through effective communications.
- Strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate potential issues.
- Strong judgment in ambiguous situations with a high degree of urgency.
- Ability to think strategically and implement ideas from conception to evaluation.
- Graphic design experience is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
