We are on the lookout for a Senior Manager of Financial Communications to join our Global Communications team. This role will collaborate closely with Investor Relations and the executive leadership team to cultivate coherent narratives surrounding the company's financial performance, ensuring clarity for both internal and external stakeholders.

The selected candidate will craft communication strategies that encompass both proactive and reactive approaches. They will strike a balance between strategic foresight and impeccable execution, establishing themselves as a reliable partner to the Investor Relations and leadership teams. This role also involves providing high-caliber support to senior executives and internal corporate communications teams to enhance the company's overarching corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee communication efforts during the quarterly results cycle, including the preparation of the CEO's earnings presentation.
  • Continuously monitor and assess industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to deliver insightful recommendations.
  • Stay informed about customer narratives, identifying new use cases for Elastic's technology.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to formulate financial messaging, ensuring consistent and accurate communication of the company's financial outcomes and growth potential to the investment community.
  • Engage in various communication projects, both internal and external, as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in financial communications, ideally with expertise in crafting messages for an investor audience.
  • Experience in the technology sector is advantageous.
  • Exceptional ability to convey materials and concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Proactive thinker with a knack for generating innovative ideas.
  • Strong multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.
