Job Summary:

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound customer service calls and make outbound follow-up calls in a professional and patient-centered manner.
  • Assist callers with their questions, concerns, or problems, with a focus on first call resolution.
  • Facilitate resolution by referring matters to the issue/content expert.
  • Escalate matters to a supervisor, request information, or take action to resolve the issue.
  • Resubmit corrected claims and supporting documentation as needed.
  • Communicate with other organizational departments to ensure proper handling of patient accounts.
  • Communicate issues to management in a timely manner and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of related or general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty billing
  • Dialer experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
