We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team at Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences by empowering our customers and tailoring solutions for both residential and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer experiences by empowering customers
  • Tailor solutions for both residential and commercial customers
  • Create work orders, purchase orders, and schedule jobs
  • Navigate multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy
  • Research and identify solutions using computer-based resources
  • Work in a paperless environment where customer privacy is paramount
  • Embrace feedback and coaching to maximize potential
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Communicate with customers through various channels
  • Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints
  • Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
  • Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in providing customer service via phone
  • Talent to relate to customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
  • Strong interest in using and promoting innovation and technology
  • Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Computer skills, specifically the ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivation to work under his/her own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Interest in ongoing personal development through training and coaching
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance and adherence to assigned work schedules
  • Ability to type 30+ words per minute
  • Must pass state, federal, and criminal background check
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Enjoy being part of a team
