Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Resolve Employee Complaints: Investigate and resolve employee complaints in a fair and impartial manner, ensuring that all parties are treated with respect and dignity.
  • Conduct Thorough Investigations: Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee complaints and allegations, gathering all relevant facts and evidence.
  • Analyze Data and Identify Trends: Analyze data related to employee relations issues and identify trends and patterns to develop strategies for improvement.
  • Partner with Operations Supervisors and HR Business Partners: Collaborate with operations supervisors and HR business partners to address employee relations issues and develop proactive solutions.
  • Assist with Benefits and Leave of Absences: Assist employees with benefits, leave of absences, and accommodations requests, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
  • Coach Employees and Managers: Coach employees and managers through conflict resolution processes, providing guidance and support to improve communication and relationships in the workplace.
  • Make Informed Decisions: Make informed decisions based on a thorough understanding of employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions on employee relations topics, such as conflict resolution, communication, and compliance.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations issues and investigations.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up to date with changes in employment laws and best practices in employee relations.
  • Represent the Company: Represent the company at legal meetings and mediations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: Professional certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong conflict resolution skills, analytical skills, knowledge of employment laws, coaching and mentoring skills, organizational skills, collaboration skills, and empathy and emotional intelligence.
