Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at House of Blues. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our live music venue, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of all facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on venue equipment and infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct daily inspections of the venue to identify and address any potential issues or hazards.
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including loading and unloading equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and festivals.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a live music or entertainment venue.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds; work in a fast-paced environment with considerable noise and interruptions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
