We are seeking a skilled tier 2 desktop support specialist for a long-term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site technical assistance to end-users.
- Provide support for standard and local software, including MS Office 365, Outlook, and security applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software challenges related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Address technical issues promptly to reduce downtime.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems, including operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is necessary; a technical degree or certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in desktop support, with proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with networking and telecommunications technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to lift and transport computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in telecommunications and printer maintenance is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
