Job Summary

The Loan Operations Specialist II will play a critical role in monitoring and generating timely and accurate written communication for all special loan portfolios, including Balloon, Adjustable Rate (ARM), Loan Modification, and Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) loans. This position will be responsible for error resolutions of special loan products and process changes/updates to reduce ongoing inaccuracies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor and generate all written communication timely and accurately for all special loan portfolios.
  • Error Resolution: Resolve errors of special loan products and process changes/updates to reduce ongoing inaccuracies.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to other team members on special loan functions, including reports and MSP data processing.
  • System Maintenance: Perform system maintenance and ensure proper documentation for all adjustments made for critical loan data.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Maintain, update, and produce reports for special loan functions to help support the team and identify data discrepancies within current loan portfolio and incoming loan populations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associated degree preferred.
  • Experience: Loan servicing experience preferred; full understanding of Balloon, Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM), and SCRA loan documents preferred.
  • Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills; some reporting experience and data analytics; experience using Microsoft Office; intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
