Position Overview:

The Financial Administrator for Capital Projects plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data related to a diverse array of projects, which can range significantly in value. This position is integral to the Project Management Services team, collaborating closely with approximately 20 Project Managers to facilitate effective financial reporting and transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Management:
    Assist Project Managers in the execution of purchase orders and invoice processing, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • Data Integrity:
    Maintain a comprehensive financial document repository to adhere to institutional standards and facilitate seamless project closeouts.
  • Budget Oversight:
    Submit budget requests and modifications to the appropriate financial office, supporting the financial health of projects.
  • Financial Reporting:
    Generate and ensure the accuracy of financial reports, reconciling project budgets with general ledger data.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of an Associate's degree in business, accounting, or a related field, complemented by 1-2 years of relevant experience. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, along with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with construction administration principles.
  • Experience with Project Management Infrastructure Systems (PMIS) such as eBuilder.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Analytics.
