Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Strategic National Account Manager to join our Costco Club team. This role is ideal for candidates in the Seattle, WA area, although we welcome applicants from various locations across the West/Northwest Region of the United States, especially those near major airports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Development: You will formulate an annual customer strategy that outlines objectives to enhance our brands through effective merchandising, promotions, advertising, shelf space optimization, pricing strategies, and the introduction of new products.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Building strong relationships and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders will be crucial. You will work alongside various partners to develop innovative solutions that yield results.
  • Analytics: A thorough understanding of your business will be essential for driving sales growth. Conducting pre and post-promotion analyses and adjusting future initiatives accordingly will be vital to your success.
  • Budget Management: You will oversee a comprehensive P&L, manage Return on Investment, and allocate trade dollars within your designated budgets, ensuring the execution of customer-specific trade plans.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A BA/BS Degree or 4-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with top account customer engagement and headquarters penetration, whether through direct sales or partnership roles.
  • Background in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Proficiency in data storytelling, utilizing tools such as Nielsen and Circana, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced project management capabilities, including financial analysis and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate market dynamics, forecast outcomes, develop pricing strategies, and analyze syndicated data.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
