About the Role

As a key member of our team at ARCXIS, you will play a vital role in conducting land surveys in diverse environments within the DFW Metroplex and occasionally in Oklahoma. Your expertise will be utilized to accurately measure and record property boundaries, topographical features, and other relevant data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Land Surveys: Utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including robotic surveying equipment, to ensure accurate data collection and compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and legal regulations.
  • Operate Robotic Surveying Equipment: Accurately measure and record property boundaries, topographical features, and other relevant data using specialized equipment.
  • Travel to Survey Sites: Operate your own vehicle to travel to various survey sites within the DFW Metroplex and occasionally to locations in Oklahoma, with an auto allowance provided to cover maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain Equipment: Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of surveying equipment to uphold accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate completion of surveying tasks.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and practices.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in operating robotic surveying equipment and GPS technology preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret surveying data accurately.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently.
  • Residential Construction Experience: Highly preferred.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Travel: Ability to travel occasionally to project sites in Oklahoma.
  • Commitment to Ethics: Commitment to upholding ethical standards and legal regulations governing land surveying practices.
