Position Overview: We are assisting this firm in finding a motivated and skilled Land Development Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee and execute various land development projects, from initial planning through to completion. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage land development projects, including site design, grading, drainage, and infrastructure.
- Design & Engineering: Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports for compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical expertise, and ensure project goals are met.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, planners, and surveyors to achieve project objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical and project-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
- 3+ years of experience in land development or related engineering fields.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, land development processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
