Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Land Survey GIS Professional Intern to join our team at Lhoist North America. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution: Assist in the execution of land surveying projects, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • GIS Data Management: Manage and maintain GIS data, including data entry, editing, and quality control.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including surveyors, engineers, and GIS specialists, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in land surveying and GIS.

Requirements:

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
  • GIS Proficiency: Have a strong understanding of GIS principles and software, including data collection, analysis, and mapping.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Team Player: Be a team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve project goals.
  • Language Skills: English is mandatory; being bilingual is a plus.
