This role is integral to our rapidly expanding technology firm, which operates in sectors such as missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control. You will collaborate with a team renowned for its outstanding research, design, development, and testing of cutting-edge information processing hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in research and development initiatives for both new and existing hardware products.
  • Devise innovative hardware solutions and enhance existing products to improve performance and reliability.
  • Create comprehensive technical specifications for production and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Evaluate hardware configurations and processing solutions to maximize performance and reliability.
  • Establish and implement thorough testing protocols to confirm hardware compliance with specifications.
  • Formulate and execute project plans, including budgeting and scheduling, to guarantee timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all work and test outcomes to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams, including electronic design, mechanical design, and other engineering fields, to meet project objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of full-time professional experience in reliability engineering, electronic design, mechanical design, or related areas.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Certification as a Reliability Engineer is required.
  • Strong grasp of information processing hardware, including computer chips, circuit boards, and computer systems.
  • Proficient in developing technical specifications and analyzing hardware configurations and processing solutions.
  • Experience in establishing and executing testing protocols for hardware compliance with specifications.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to develop and implement project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for most positions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in system requirement elicitation, definition, and functional allocation to hardware and software components.
  • Experience in developing and executing integration plans and procedures for software and hardware integration testing.
  • Accountable for integration execution and preparation of test documentation.
  • Experience in conducting integration and formal test analysis and documenting results for requirement validation.
  • Experience in supporting planning, execution, analysis, reporting, system evaluation, and field support for Test and Evaluation at the system level, including strategic, space, and missile warning missions.
  • Experience with Combatant Command and Service Level operations and acquisition directorates.
  • Experience in preparing and executing comprehensive subsystem and enterprise-level test plans and procedures.
  • Documenting test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.
