The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in overseeing project operations, managing schedules, procurement, and the allocation of resources and personnel. Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000

Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate precise and thorough schedules for ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Establish project objectives by analyzing proposals and plans in collaboration with management
  • Identify project responsibilities by breaking down phases and components
  • Define project specifications by reviewing design, customer needs, and performance criteria
  • Engage with clients to provide updates on project progress and mitigate scope changes
  • Review and submit all project documentation
  • Develop and maintain project timelines
  • Create and manage project logs and trackers, including procurement, deliverables, RFIs, and change orders
  • Compile project status reports through data collection, analysis, and trend summarization
  • Uphold Jaxon’s positive reputation while striving for excellence
  • Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet shared objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of two years of experience in a project engineering role or a related field such as Commercial/Industrial Construction, DoD contracting, EMP protection, or Manufacturing.
  • Proficient in reading plans, specifications, statements of work, or requests for proposals
  • Experience in coordinating project teams and timelines
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with MS Project software
  • Ability to obtain and sustain a DoD issued Top Secret clearance
  • Open to coaching and eager to acquire new skills in a dynamic industry
