Job Title: Director of Human Resources Operations

North Road Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources Operations to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and administrative tasks that support the functioning of our HR department and the organization as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS implementation and management
  • Participate in the onboarding process for newly acquired organizations as part of M&A activity
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and automate HR processes to ensure smooth HR operations
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Lead the implementation of the HRIS, ensuring accurate and efficient data management, reporting, and analysis
  • Collaborate with the Head of People and legal to develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures
  • Oversee the HR service delivery model to ensure employees receive high-quality, timely support on HR-related issues
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards to provide leadership with accurate, actionable insights on workforce trends, employee engagement, turnover, and operational efficiencies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; HR certification preferred
  • 7+ years of proven experience in HR Operations, or similar role with responsibility for payroll, benefits, and 401k administration
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and experience managing or implementing HR technology solutions
  • Extensive understanding of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
  • Experience managing global payroll operations ensuring compliance with international laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with shared services and hub-and-spoke HR operating models
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

At North Road Company, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine a fair and equitable compensation package. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure guidelines, the base salary for this role is between $130,000 and $150,000 per year.
