HR Manager Job Description

GSI is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support all aspects of our human resources functions and create a positive and productive work environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Onboarding and Integration: Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new team members, including offer letter creation, background checks, and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Recruitment and Sourcing: Collaborate with business partners to assist with sourcing and recruiting initiatives.
  • Program Development and Improvement: Work with business partners to develop or improve programs, policies, and solutions that align with the company vision.
  • HR Administration: Perform tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate and support annual performance review processes, assist in developing performance improvement plans, and provide coaching to managers.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer benefits programs and conduct surveys to make recommendations for competitive compensation packages.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR experience.
  • HR Certifications a plus; SPHR certification a plus.
  • Experience across multiple disciplines within HR, including recruiting, employee relations, training, performance management, policies, and procedures, and compensation.
  • Experience supporting corporate employees, specifically within consumer products.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting the development of capable, high-performing teams and investing deeply in the growth of managers and team members.
  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable HR programs to promote and retain best-in-class teams.
