About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Manager to join our team at BESTMSLs. As a Medical Information Manager, you will be responsible for generating standard and customized medical information content to fulfill unsolicited Medical Information requests from healthcare professionals and non-healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Generation: Develop and execute the content generation plan for assigned therapeutic areas, including preparation of content generation plans to support product launches.
  • Medical Review: Serve as the primary Medical reviewer for promotional material, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and scientific balance.
  • Resource Management: Manage internal and external resources for the execution of the content generation plan.
  • Escalation Management: Provide timely, accurate, and thorough responses to escalations from the Medical Information Contact Center.
  • Training and Support: Provide ongoing support and training to Medical Information Contact Center agents and other relevant individuals on new or updated Medical Information content.
  • Quality Assurance: Regularly monitor the quality and accuracy of Medical Information responses and identify necessary corrective actions or training required to ensure compliance with regional and local regulations.
  • Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of product, disease state, and competitor knowledge for assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Mentorship: Mentor post-doctoral fellows, interns, and other learners.
  • Collaboration: Serve as a Medical Information resource for internal business partners and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve comments and produce high-quality documents.
  • Compliance: Ensure prompt and accurate reporting of adverse events or product complaints in accordance with relevant SOPs and regulations.
  • Audit Readiness: Support audit readiness for Medical Information.
Requirements
  • Education: An advanced degree in pharmacy, nursing, or medicine (PharmD, NP, DNP, MD, PA) from an accredited US or foreign medical school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Medical Information or Medical Communications with a pharmaceutical company or vendor, including medical review of promotional materials.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, produce clear and concise written and verbal communications, and possess advanced medical information skills.
