Job Summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a skilled Ambulatory Clinic Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Conduct preliminary assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Evaluate patient care situations and take appropriate action to ensure quality care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in educational programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
  • 6 months of RN experience, with 2 or more years of experience preferred.
  • Current active multistate state Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support Heartsaver (BLS HS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.
