POSITION SUMMARY
The role of the Project Coordination Specialist involves providing essential support to TynanGroup in the orchestration, implementation, and successful delivery of high-profile development and renovation initiatives. You will gather vital project data and furnish the Project Manager with the necessary insights to propel the project forward. Your analytical skills will be crucial in resolving challenges, generating value, and assisting our team in executing intricate projects within established timelines and budgets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of project specifics, including critical milestones and objectives.
  • Conduct daily site visits to assess progress and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate in formulating the project roadmap, contributing to a detailed plan from pre-construction through to project completion.
  • Analyze architectural designs and technical specifications thoroughly.
  • Track the project’s schedule and budget performance closely.
  • Provide regular updates to the Project Manager regarding project status at all phases.
  • Assist project stakeholders by gathering and synthesizing pertinent project information.
  • Execute administrative duties as needed, such as preparing estimates and invoices, while monitoring project progress.
  • Maintain communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and builders as necessary.
  • Represent TynanGroup on-site and cultivate strong relationships with key industry partners.
  • Offer project coverage in the absence of the Project Manager.
  • Engage in learning and training opportunities to eventually transition into a Project Manager role, actively seeking knowledge on effective project leadership.

  • Strong communication skills, providing the Project Manager with clear, concise, and relevant updates.
  • Proficient in task management, prioritizing critical tasks and delivering all assignments promptly and efficiently.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, quickly identifying issues and assisting in the development of effective solutions.
  • Adaptability in dynamic environments, swiftly adjusting to changes in project plans and re-prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Suite, Blue Beam, and Procore, with the ability to learn new tools as required.
