Core Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough project estimates and managing change orders, covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
  • Collaborating with design and sales teams to create precise project proposals.
  • Staying informed about market trends, costs, and best practices in landscape construction.
  • Maintaining and updating internal estimating templates and cost databases.
  • Overseeing project management from the initial bid estimate through to project completion.
  • Communicating project specifics to supervisors to ensure successful execution within the defined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Coordinating with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to align project objectives.
  • Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Working closely with Superintendents and field staff.
  • Tracking job financial performance and assisting with billing processes.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance division for project transitions.
  • Serving as the primary contact for clients throughout the project, ensuring professional communication.
  • Providing timely updates on project progress, changes, and challenges to clients.
  • Addressing client inquiries promptly to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Conducting final inspections and client walkthroughs to confirm project completion and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management within the landscape construction sector.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proficient in landscape project estimating software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction practices, including grading, drainage, hardscaping, lighting, and irrigation.
